Job Description

  • Prepare income tax returns
  • Tax planning based on client needs
  • Research tax issues and regulations
  • Stay up to date on tax law changes and accounting procedures
  • Communicate with clients to ensure the clients’ best interests are achieved

Qualifications

  • 1 year of public accounting experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience in accounting and tax compliance; experience should include corporations,
    partnerships, individuals and trusts
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Job Description

  • Responsible for developing tax strategies and policies
  • Oversee compliance with local, state and federal tax laws and regulations
  • Provide tax planning and review complex income, estate and gift tax returns
  • Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and
    expertise
  • Improve processes by developing and implementing best practices
  • Training staff
  • Perform tax research

Qualifications

  • 10 years public accounting experience
  • 5 years experience as a tax manager
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience in accounting and tax compliance; experience should include corporations,
    partnerships, individuals and trusts
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • CPA license

Senior Accountant

Job Description

  • Prepare business, individual and trust tax returns
  • Perform financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
  • Review client accounting records and provide constructive recommendations
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with constant communication and exceptional service
  • Assist partners and senior staff coordinate and organize engagements
  • Research accounting and tax updates

Expectations

  • 3-5 years public accounting experience
  • Current CPA or CPA candidate, with 5 years secondary education
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP
  • Solid knowledge of income tax rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of Workpapers CS, Fixed Assets CS and Ultra Tax CS is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients while meeting deadlines
  • Highly detailed and confident in work product
  • Desire to learn
